A study performed by Key Lime Interactive (KLI), an independent business with a specialty in user experience and testing, has named State farm as the top auto insurance provider in terms of its mobile customer experience.
The research team at KLI collected consumer feedback regarding the types of elements they want to see in a mobile app and which ones they feel are the most important. The respondents indicated that they wanted to be able to see detailed information about their policies, pay a bill, and enter information relating to an accident including details about the scene, photos, and other important data.
The State Farm mobile website offered all of these critical elements that were vital to a satisfactory mobile experience, and they managed to do so in a way that was not only practical to use, but visually attractive, as well.
According to vice president Patty Gaumond, from State Farm’s Enterprise Internet Solutions, “State Farm is the leader in mobile insurance capabilities and we’re working hard to maintain that position.” Gaumond went on to say that the ranking that the insurer received from KLI acknowledges its concerted efforts to create the best possible user experience for their customers.
She said that even though they have already achieved the top ranking among insurers in the mobile commerce channel, they still continue to work to better their mobile experience by paying close attention to the feedback that their customers are providing, and by keeping their eyes on the latest technologies that will make the entire process even simpler.
