A recent study has shown that 72 percent feel that insurers are headed in the right direction. According to the insurance news making findings from the Women in Insurance Global Conference, 72 percent of women within the industry feel that insurers are making progress toward the goal of achieving gender equality. In a survey, 92 percent stated that they had a “significant concern” over this issue. The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) has recently released the results of its survey that has shown that 92 percent of the women who took part felt that gender inequality is worrisome within this industry. More than nine out of every ten women feel “significant concern for the insurance industry today”.
