New York, New Jersey, and California regulators have all given the green light to double-digit hikes. Allstate recently announced that it had received the go-ahead for double-digit auto insurance rate increases in New York, New Jersey and California. Dave Jones, the California Insurance Commissioner, has now come to an agreement with Allstate Insurance Company and Allstate Indemnity Insurance in order to decrease the rates being paid by home insurance customers in the state.
