Morgan Stanley insurance offerings move into P&C coverage

The firm’s partner brokers will be offering wealthy clients these new coverage products.

Morgan Stanley insurance products now include a range of P&C products designed for high net worth clients and their families. The brokerage has partnered with Marsh Private Clients Services, HUB International, and Willis Towers Watson to add to its available products.

Support for the brokerage’s insurance clients will be provided through “dedicated service teams.”

According to Barron’s, “dedicated service teams” will provide Morgan Stanley insurance customers with service. Clients will also be able to benefit from a streamlined claim processing approach for a smoother and more convenient experience when a filing must be made.

As a component of the agreement, the firm’s partner brokers will offer their clients continuous policy reviews. This makes it possible for the clients to assess their own needs for P&C insurance coverage. Moreover, they will also provide clients with alerts on potential or evolving emergency situations such as wildfires or hurricanes. This will provide those clients with the opportunity to evaluate the need for additional coverage.

The clients will also have access to a personal and commercial insurance line suite. This will include personal lines such as watercrafts, inland marine, flood, aviation, cybersecurity, and general and professional liability coverage. On the commercial side it will include aviation, inland marine, general and professional liability, crime and umbrella/excess liability coverage.

The Morgan Stanley insurance offerings are meant to help clients easily maneuver with evolving coverage needs.

“Our clients place a high priority on asset protection and by working with these industry-leading insurance brokers, Morgan Stanley can address their need for a comprehensive insurance strategy as part of their overall relationship,” said a statement from Joseph Toledano, Morgan Stanley head of insured solutions.

The new coverage products will be offered along with those already sold through the brokerage. This may be the firm’s first foray into P&C, but they already offer clients life, long term care and disability insurance products.

All the Morgan Stanley insurance product offerings are available through its Wealth Management Investment Solutions Insured Solutions business.
