Mexican Insurance Store is now providing travelers with not only high quality auto insurance coverage in Mexico, but is now offering them a simple and convenient way to stay on top of the latest travel alerts that have been issued for the country.
The ongoing safety issues that have continued in Mexico have led the U.S. State Department, and other national agencies such as the Canadian government, to issue travel safety alerts to individuals considering a visit to those locations.
According to the president of Mexican Insurance Store, Linden Gray, there isn’t typically a problem travelling to the country, but there are some trouble areas and travelers should be advised of them before they go. Gray went on to say “Should people avoid Mexico? Absolutely not. The internet in general and our website offers plenty of resources that keep travelers informed about the situation.”
Mexico is seeing a lot of rapid changes in the circumstances among its various regions. Though there may be drug violence in an area one day, it could disappear as quickly as the next. Therefore, travelers headed south of the border need to take that extra step to keep themselves informed.
According to retired CBS News employee, Irina Posner, who is only one of 12,000 to 14,000 Americans now living in San Miguel either full-time or for part of the year, though the country is developing an unpleasant reputation about drug violence, in reality, there isn’t very much crime, and the criminal acts that do exist don’t have anything to do with “gringos”. She explained that they feel safe there and love it there.
