The company’s new policy for entrepreneurs is designed to provide flexible coverage options.
Mercury Insurance has announced that it will be selling California small business insurance for entrepreneurs in the state with restaurants, retail stores, professional services or medical offices.
This is the insurer’s most recent offering from its CMP line, created with quick quotes in mind.
The CMP line at Mercury provides entrepreneurs with California small business insurance quotes quickly and conveniently, with options to tailer their coverage packages to the specific needs of their companies.
“As the economy rebounds and businesses reopen, owners now, more than ever, are aware of their need to be protected when unexpected circumstances happen,” said Mercury Senior Director State Product Manager Elizabeth Corral-Salas. “As many owners look to rejuvenate their business or start new ventures, our Small Business Insurance program has been designed to fit California businesses’ specific needs.”
Mercury’s tech investments let agents provide quick California small business insurance quotes.
This way, agents can rapidly calculate the quote they need, bind and issue a policy for local entrepreneurs. With the tech, they can rapidly and easily design policy packages and calculate premiums, so customers don’t need to wait.
“With the new program’s revised quote layout, coverages, rating details and eligibility qualifiers are clearly displayed, to easily confirm with the client when writing their policy,” said Connel Insurance Agency’s Erik Connell in San Mateo, as quoted in a news release by the insurer. “I’m sold on Mercury’s new Small Business quoting platform and the competitive advantage it will bring our agency and customers!”
The new California small business insurance offers flexibility with the policy package options, making it possible to quickly obtain a quote even when the entrepreneur has several business operations and needs various forms of coverage. They will be able to do so with the pricing designed with their single or multiple operations in mind. Each option is designed to be bundled seamlessly within the new Business Owners Policy (BOP) offering.
The new Mercury California small business insurance is appropriate for small to mid-size companies employing fewer than 50 people and with sales under $30 million per year.
