Tokyo Power set to pay for Fukushima nuclear disaster

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), Asia’s largest utility company, has started making compensation payments to the residents who had to be evacuated from around the Fukushima nuclear plant after the disaster in March. Now, they may end up paying a lot more according to Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary. Nuclear plant shut down in Alabama causes many to question safety

The outbreak of tornado’s and severe weather Wednesday caused massive damage across the southeastern United States. With a death toll of just over 200, almost three-quarters of those were in Alabama.
