Pet Insurance for travel

This has been an outcome of a partnership with Global Pet Plus.

The Hartville Group’s new partnership with Global Pet Plus has brought about a first of its kind form of pet insurance coverage in the United States, as travel assistance services have been added to the plan.

Hartville is among the oldest as well as one of the largest animal insurers in the country.

Through the insurer’s subsidiary agency, the company has now become one of the first American providers of emePet Insurance for travelrgency travel assistance within its pet insurance plans. This organization has already been selling pet insurance by way of its subsidiary agency under several different names. These include Hartville Pet Insurance, ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, and Petshealth Care Plan.

It has been offering pet insurance through the ASPCA to American customers since 2006.

The new form of emergency travel coverage becomes effective when the policyholder has traveled a minimum of 100 miles away from home. This gives the customer access to the Global Pet Plus Operations Center, which is available every hour of every day.

There, they will be able to be connected immediately with a number of different vital services, such as emergency transportation, veterinary referrals, assistance in locating an animal that has gone missing, various forms of concierge services, and even a checklist of important items and steps that should be taken ahead of a trip. The plan means that customers will not face any out of pocket costs, and that all of the required arrangements for the various services will be provided.

The Hartville Group CEO, Dennis Rushovich, stated that “Being the first pet insurance provider to include travel assistance services is another way for us to show how much we value our customers and their family pets.” He also added that “Our plans already cover visits to any licensed veterinarian in the US or Canada, and now our customers will have even more help when they’re on the road.”

Vice president of business development at Global Pet Plus, Stephanie Croquez, expressed the company’s excitement regarding the launch of this latest element to their pet insurance coverage and to be working with Hartville in order to provide it. Croquez stated that they are hopeful that they will be able to provided added peace of mind to the many animal owners who now bring their furry family members with them when they travel.
