The Allstate college football event is back for another year as two finalists compete in New Orleans.
For another year, Allstate is holding the 60 Seconds of Mayhem Sweepstakes, which will continue to make insurance news from now through November 30, 2012.
The insurer has announced the return which gives fans the compete in a field goal kick contest.
Two lucky fans are given the opportunity to make headlines by competing against one another this football season in order to win a new motorcycle, truck, travel trailer, and VIP trip to meet Kirk Herbstreit, the college ball television analyst, at the BCS Championship. All this, just ahead of the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
Fans are already able to try to make insurance news by entering into the sweepstakes at the official website.
It is also possible for fans to enter during one of the game day stops of the Allstate Tailgate Tour, where insurance will be made at universities sponsored by the insurer throughout the college football season this year.
According to the Allstate senior director of sponsorship marketing, Pam Hollander, “Allstate is thrilled to give fans the chance to experience a little college football mayhem – first hand – by playing the game and ultimately winning the chance to really see how hard it is to kick a field goal into the ‘Good Hands’ field goal net.”
Hollander went on to say that the top prizes of the 60 Seconds of Mayhem Sweepstakes will all make insurance news as they each represent a different product line that is offered by the insurer. Fans and employees of the carrier, alike, are keen to discover who will be taking those prizes home.
The field goal kick competition for the grand prize will be held at the Allstate Fan Fest in the center of the New Orleans French Quarter, which will be a lead-in to the Sugar Bowl in 2013 that will take place in that city.
The fan who wins the competition by kicking the ball the most times from the 15 yard line into the “Good Hands” net, within a period of 60 seconds, will make insurance news by winning the entire grand prize package as well as a trip for two to the BCS Championship in Miami.
