Insurance company releases support guide for all Americans with breast cancer

Allstate is working with Hollye Jacobs, who is a survivor as well as the author of “The Silver Lining”.

The Allstate insurance company has announced that it will now be working with Hollye Jacobs, the bestselling author of “The Silver Lining” and a breast cancer survivor, in order to offer everyone in the United States who has been diagnosed with the disease a support guide.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the insurer will be offering “The Silver Lining Companion Guide.

Everyone in the country who has received a diagnosis of breast cancer will have this support guide made available to them. It has been created specifically to offer those individuals practical tips, important information, as well as inspiration for making their way through each different step of the treatment, as well as throughout the recovery process. It has been estimated that throughout this year, there will be a new diagnosis of 250,000 cases of the disease. The insurance company is hoping to provide those patients with added support through a new condensed version of the bestselling book by Jacobs, called “The Silver Lining: A Supportive and Insightful Guide to Breast Cancer.”

The insurance company is offering the guide to boost awareness and provide support to patients.

Wilson, “No woman should be alone in the struggle against breast cancer.” In a press release, he added that “This guide will be a source of comfort, knowledge and inspiration. We are thrilled to be able to help magnify Hollye’s voice for those women who hear the dreaded words, ‘You have breast cancer.’ This completely aligns with Allstate’s purpose which is to be a force for good in local communities and protect people from life’s uncertainties.”

The guide will be downloadable by consumers with any e-reader in its English and its Spanish editions. It can also be obtained in its print form through the Direct Relief nonprofit organization at participating distribution centers across the United States. The downloadable version of the book as well as a full list of all distribution centers that have the printed version is available on the Allstate Insurance company website.
