Geico InsuranceThe Virginia Business and Best Companies Group has named GEICO insurance one of the top places to work in the state, in recognition of the insurer’s efforts as one of Virginia’s leading employers.

The regional vice president of the Fredericksburg office for GEICO, John Izzo, said that the company is proud of receiving this honor and acknowledged that it is the company’s associates who propel the insurer forward. Therefore, “we make a strong effort to ensure they get as much out of their hard work for GEICO as they put in.”

He explained that the insurer is always watching for new associates who aren’t just interested in a contribution to GEICO, but who are hoping to advance their careers within the industry through effective skills development.
