Football fans have opportunity to win big prizes from Allstate mobile sweepstakes

Allstate Insurance NewsAllstate Insurance Co. has announced that it will be providing fans of college football with the opportunity to win a trip to the BCS National Championship game, and a new car, by way of a text-to-win sweepstakes.

Beyond these grand prizes, participants also have the chance to win other weekly prizes. The sweepstakes has already started and will continue until November 30, 2011.

According to the director of sponsorship marketing for Allstate, Pam Hollander, from Northbrook, Illinois, the 60 Seconds of Mayhem sweepstakes was developed by Allstate to “generate awareness for the various product lines that Allstate insures, including auto, home, motorcycle, boat and RV.”

She went on to explain that the heavy connection between college football and Allstate has made this mobile promotional sweepstakes a great way for fans to be engaged and to have fun while they discover how Allstate takes part in their interests, as well as how to make sure that the important things in their lives are properly protected.

Consumers who wish to take part in this sweepstakes can enter on a weekly basis simply by using the short code 25788 to text a keyword while they are in-stadium at any of the 21 Allstate partner college universities. These include campuses in Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

At these stadiums, the keywords will be posted on the screens during football games. Alternately, fans can also take part in the sweepstakes at allstatecfb.com.

The grand prize will be awarded to one winner, and it will consist of a trip for four to New Orleans, Louisiana for the 2011 Allstate BSC National Championship, as well as a 2012 Buick Regal GS.
