For the third consecutive year, the insurer was deemed the 2017 most ethical company by the Ethisphere Institute.
For the third year in a row, the Allstate Corporation was named the most ethical company by the Ethisphere Institute, making it the best insurance company for ethics for many consumers. The Ethisphere Institute has recognized the insurer as a global leader in establishing and improving ethical business practice standards.
The designation was granted to the insurer in the form of the 2017 World’s Most Ethical Company.
Allstate continually strives to be the best insurance company in the United States and on a global scale. As a central component of that effort, it has given ethics its very specific attention. On top of being named the World’s Most Ethical Company for the third time, it is also one of only two companies within the Property and Casualty Insurance industry to have placed the spotlight on their own efforts to lead the way in ethical business practices and standards.
These efforts have not gone unnoticed by the Ethisphere Institute, which has called them the best insurance company under their terms.
Allstate senior vice president and chief ethics, compliance and privacy officer, Kelly Noll, said “Our dedication to doing the right thing has been at the core of Allstate throughout our history.” Knoll added that “This recognition by Ethisphere is a welcome validation of our company’s commitment to highly ethical business standards, which guide us in making decisions and in all our actions.”
The Ethisphere Institute has been in existence for eleven years. Every year, it has monitored companies around the globe and recognizes the role the most ethical businesses play in influencing society to move forward in positive change.
