Allianz Insurance has announced that it is now offering a new home insurance product in Europe that is available exclusively online and offers customers the ability to construct a policy that is customized to their unique needs.
The new home insurance product called “Your Cover” helps customers to buy the most basic level of comprehensive coverage, upon which they can add up to 11 additional optional forms of coverage – such as home business coverage, identity fraud protection, 24-hour home emergency assistance, and sports equipment insurance – in order to provide precisely what they need.
Customers can now visit the new website at yourcoveringinsurance.co.uk in order to use the “quote and buy” feature which was created to make it quick and easy for customers to identify specifically what they need and to purchase that product. The Your Cover product will soon be available on major price comparison websites, as well.
Allianz Retail head of direct, Andy James, stated that as households in Britain are experiencing a larger financial pinch than they have in a long time, the new home insurance product that is now being offered is designed to provide customers with “greater flexibility and choice to help keep their costs down by only selecting the level of cover that they need.”
Allianz Insurance, a part of the Allianz SE Group, is among the biggest UK general insurance companies. Despite the uncertain economic future, Allianz Insurance received a rating from Standard and Poor’s in July 2011 that reaffirmed it as AA, and stated that its outlook was stable.
