This is the third consecutive year the company has received this important distinction as an employer.

Allstate Insurance has received the second spot on the 2019 Military Friendly Employers list. It has received this honor once again in recognition for its efforts to hire, train, develop and retain both military veterans and their spouses.

Allstate Insurance has long made active efforts to maintain and build its military and veterans programs.

The Allstate insurance company has received recognition as a Military Friendly Employer for three consecutive years. The insurer maintains several military and veteran programs. They include its Joining Forces for Good licensing initiative. That program helps to transition veterans so they can work for Allstate agency owners as licensed sales professionals.

In 2017, over 150 veterans were hired through the Joining Forces for Good program, according to a recent Allstate release. Furthermore, 215 veterans were hired into other positions by Allstate throughout last year.

Allstate Insurance also received recognition for having made over $350,000 in donations and for over 3,000 volunteer hours for nonprofits and organizations that serve veterans and military members. The Allstate Veterans Engagement Team and Supporters (AVETS) Employee Resource Group at the national insurance company is another program it maintains to support both active military, veterans and their loved ones. That group works to provide community and support to achieve career success through Allstate.

Allstate is proud of its recognition on the 2019 Military Friendly Employers list once again.

“At Allstate, we’re proud to foster the careers of transitioning service members and veterans to ensure they can succeed,” said Allstate’s director of military programs, Joseph Pennington. “The programs we have in place to support veterans continue to grow, and we look forward to serving even more veterans in 2019 and beyond.”
